My name is Deborah Brooks. I live in Oakland, CA. That s next to Berkeley and across the Bay from San Francisco. This is a beautiful town. This is what it looks like right now: </p><p class="norm"><ul><li><a href="http://sv.berkeley.edu/view/index.html"><span class="norm"> Looking from the Berkeley hills over the Bay </span></a><span class="norm"> (If you get choices, click on  Lawrence Hall of Science )</span> </span><li><a href="http://www.mapwest.com/bridgecam_main.html"><span class="norm"> The Golden Gate Bridge </span></a><span class="norm"> (which is often covered in fog!) </span></ul></p><br><br><u> Tutoring Experience </u><br><br> In English schools, I have taught writing, grammar, TOEFL Preparation, reading, conversation, idioms, vocabulary, pronunciation (accent reduction), and basic literacy. </p><p class="norm"> In Computer schools, I have taught basic Windows computer skills, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, basic Macintosh skills, Email, Internet and digital photography. </p><p class="norm"> I have taught workplace preparation, resume writing, interview skills and personl presentation skills to both Americans and immigrants. </p><p class="norm"> I have taught Spanish language in Adult School, for community groups and privately. I enjoy using music to teach language. Although I'm not a native speaker of Spanish, I have spoken it for more than 30 years. </p><p class="norm"> I would like to be your personal tutor!
